What you'll do on day 2
- After breakfast, set out on a half-day guided excursion combining the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain with a discovery of Rio de Janeiro’s historic centre. Your first stop is Urca Mountain, where a viewing area offers the opportunity to pause at one of the local restaurants or bars before continuing to the summit of Sugarloaf.
- From the top, enjoy spectacular views across Rio de Janeiro, including Copacabana Beach, Guanabara Bay, the surrounding mountains and islands, the Rio–Niterói Bridge and the iconic Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain.
- The tour then continues by car through the historic centre of Rio
- Your guide will then take you to lunch, where you can enjoy local Brazilian cuisine.
