When is the best time to see the Northern Lights in Finland?

Late August to early April, with the strongest odds between September and March when the nights are longest and skies clearest. Our winter itineraries include three to four dedicated aurora nights so you get several chances rather than one.

Do Indian passport holders need a visa for Finland?

Yes — Finland is in the Schengen area. We provide the complete documentation kit: invitation letter, confirmed hotel vouchers, day-wise itinerary and insurance guidance. Apply four to six weeks before departure.

How much does a Lapland trip from India cost?

Our land packages start from ₹1,85,000 per person on twin sharing. International flights, visa fees and personal expenses are quoted separately so you always see what you are paying for.

Is Indian and vegetarian food available in Lapland?

Yes. Daily breakfast is included and we pre-arrange Indian, Jain and vegetarian meals with hotels and restaurants along the route when you tell us at the time of booking.

Are your trips suitable for children and senior travellers?

Absolutely. Safaris are family friendly and pace can be adjusted. Children ride with a parent on husky and reindeer safaris, and we arrange family rooms or five-bed family glass igloos.

How cold does it get, and is winter clothing provided?

Between -5°C and -30°C in Lapland winter. Thermal overalls, boots, gloves and helmets are provided for every safari; you bring base layers, woollen socks, a warm cap and lip balm.
