What you'll do on day 2
- City Tour and Sugar Loaf (SIB) After breakfast, you have the chance to go on a shared half-day excursion to Sugar Loaf. The first stop is Urca Mountain, with a wide viewing area that also offers the possibility to have a snack in the restaurant on top of the mountain. From Sugar Loaf Mountain, you will enjoy a beautiful view of Rio, Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, islands in the ocean, Niterói Bridge, and the statue of Christ on Corcovado Mountain.
- After descending by cable car, the tour continues by car to the central regions of Rio’s old town, where you can admire several historic churches, monasteries, the main cathedral, colonial-style buildings, and notable Jewish synagogues, offering a glimpse into the rich Jewish heritage and culture of the city.
