What you'll do on day 4
- After breakfast at your hotel, set out on a private tour to Corcovado Mountain, home to the world-famous Christ the Redeemer.
- A specially designed train takes you from the foot of the mountain through the lush Tijuca rainforest, offering glimpses of Rio’s tropical wildlife along the way, including toucans, monkeys and, if you’re lucky, armadillos.
- At the summit, 700 metres above sea level, stands the iconic 38-metre statue of Christ the Redeemer.
- But the statue is only part of the experience. From here, breathtaking panoramic views unfold across Rio de Janeiro, stretching from Guanabara Bay and Maracanã Stadium to Sugarloaf Mountain, Copacabana, Ipanema and Gávea.
- After the visit, return to your hotel.
