What you'll do on day 8
- In the morning, at 07:00, you will depart for Barreirinhas (4 hours drive) along a good road. Along the way, we see local plantations. Barreirinhas is a very peaceful and charming town, situated on the banks of the Pregisas River.
- Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, located close to the city, is a wonder of nature, with unbelievable sand dunes. From March to September, nature forms blue lakes between the dunes. At 2:00 pm you will depart in a 4x4 vehicle to the heart of Lençóis, where we will take a tour of Lago Azul and swim in the lakes. We will stay there until late afternoon to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the dunes.
- In the evening, we return to Barreirinhas, where we can swim in the hotel's pool, stroll through the city's quiet night streets or enjoy the river at a local restaurant.
