What you'll do on day 9
- Breakfast in the hotel. A full day sightseeing tour of Recife and Olinda awaits you.
- You will visit three sectors of the city center: Recife, Santo Antonio and Boa Vista. You will see the Mauricio de Nassau Bridge, the Republic Square (surrounded by the Governor's Palace, the Santa Isabel Theater and the courts) and the Casa da Cultura, a beautiful building built in the 19th century. In the beginning, this building served as a prison, today it is a center of regional culture with shops for handicrafts and local delicacies that you can indulge in.
- Next, departure to Olinda, inspection of architectural monuments: the Church of Mercy, the monastery of St. Benedict, the Church of the Savior, located at the highest point of the city, Alto da Se hill, from where you have a breathtaking view of the sister cities. Olinda is a UNESCO world natural and cultural heritage site.
