What you'll do on day 2
- After breakfast, meet your private guide at the hotel and head towards Corcovado, passing through Rio’s historic centre along the way. Admire some of the city’s most important landmarks, including Candelária Church, São Bento Monastery, the Lapa Arches and the Metropolitan Cathedral, as well as its beautiful colonial architecture. Continue by scenic cogwheel train through the lush Tijuca Forest to the top of Corcovado Hill, where the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue stands at 700 metres above sea level.
- Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Rio, Guanabara Bay, Sugarloaf Mountain and the surrounding coastline.
