What you'll do on day 3
- Full-day excursion (8 hours) "Gaucho Fiesta" in an English-speaking group.
- You will head to a traditional Argentine "estancia." This excursion provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the lifestyle and folklore of Argentine gauchos. Initially leading a nomadic way of life, gauchos gradually settled down and engaged in farming and cattle herding. The few modern gauchos remaining in the country now demonstrate their remarkable horsemanship skills to all interested parties. They are known for their ability to use "boleadoras" (ropes with three tied stones to capture and immobilize cattle), handle knives and lassos, and prepare the world's finest meat (the excursion includes a traditional Argentine lunch).
