- Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day excursion to Machu Picchu – the "lost city of the Incas" in a group with an English-speaking guide. The most enlightened priests went to Machu Picchu after the fall of the Inca Empire, the Spaniards could not find this city. Machu Picchu was built of huge limestone blocks without the use of cementing mortar on the top of a mountain, surrounded by impenetrable jungle. It was discovered by the American archaeologist Iram Bingham only in 1911. Dinner. Return to Cusco by train. Arrival, transfer to the hotel.
